"Let Us Go Again and Visit Our Brethren"

by Paul D. Fisher

In Acts 15:36, we find these words, "And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord and see how they do." The apostle Paul knew that you didn't just convert someone to the cause of Christ and then abandon them. Thinking of all those young Christians in the various places that he and Barnabas had taught the gospel on their first missionary trip, Paul determined to return and check on them. Three years ago, a mission team worked in Las Brisas and now we are going to return and work with this young congregation again. Some of the people we have had
contact with and seen each of the last two years, but we will be with the full congregation once more next Sunday for worship. Plus we will get to meet those who have been added by the Lord since the last campaign.
This is an exciting time, because we will be able to encourage our brothers and sisters at Las Brisas congregation and be encouraged ourselves by their faithful example. Of course we will bring greetings from the whole congregation here, along with the Bibles and other books that this congregation helped to buy. We are
looking forward to working with these brethren and out in the neighborhoods, sowing the seed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I want to thank everyone here for their support for this good work and it is through your generosity that we are able to go and take the gospel into this area. It is so uplifting for the people of the congregations where we have been before to see the interest that this congregation has in them and the work of the Lord in their countryand our own.
