This coming Friday will be the Fourth of July and our country will be two hundred and twenty seven years old. Having recently spent time outside our country makes me appreciate more than ever the blessings that we as citizens of this country enjoy. When you think about the fact that only five percent of the world's population lives in the USA and we were born here, it should make you want to thank God for allowing you to be born heret Remember, when you are enjoying the day with family and friends or on the lake, that you are a blessed person for being in this countrY. Also remember those who are away from their loved ones defending our country from those people who would like to destroy the USA.
Our country is not perfect and many of our laws need
changing to help make this an even better place to live. We as Christians
need to pray daily for our country and for our leaders that they would
receive the wisdom they need to run our countrY in a more God-fearing way.
We need to use the rights that God has blessed us with in this country
by being informed voters and voting for those people who have the highest
morals. Remember that the Fourth of July is more than just fireworks and
cookouts, it is the birthday of one of the most blessed nations this world
has ever seen!
