Not one sinner would be saved (Mk. 16:16 & 1 Pet.
3:21).
There would be no remission of sins (Acts 2:38).
Our sins could not be washed away (Acts 22:16).
We would have no contact with the soul-cleansing blood
of Christ (Rom. 6:3 & Rev. 1:5).
No one could be born again (John 3:5; Rom. 6:34 &
Titus 3:5).
It would be impossible to enter into Christ (Rom. 6:34
& Gal. 3:27).
Hence, we could never get where all spiritual blessings
are - in Christ (Eph. 1:3).
We could never put on Christ (2 Cor. 5:17 & Gal.
3:26-27).
We could never rise to walk in newness of life (Rom.
6:3).
We could not receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts
2:38).
We would have no hope of being risen with Christ (Col.
2:12).
We could not enter into the church and it would not exist
on the face of the earth today (1 Cor. 12:13).
Hence, we could not glorify God (Eph. 3:21) “for Jesus’
sake” (2 Cor. 4:11)
(from the Sunday Update, 29th & Yale Church of Christ).
