THANKS
A letter of thanks was sent to the Lbety church of Christ in Belle,
Mo for their contribution to the Perus mission fund that the Marshfield
congregation participates in.
LABOR DAY WEEKEND PICNIC
Our September fellowship is tonight after evening services. You
are requested to bring picnic food of any kind (chicken, potato salad,
baked beans, desserts, etc.) or whatever. There will also be a baby shower
for Ellie Sanders. Come and enjoy the fun and fellowship.
PRAYER LIST
Mae Manery is improving
well from her back surgery.
Georgia Matthews'
leg is not healing as well as expected from the serious cut and infections
she suffered, and she had to return to the doctor.
Judy Phillips
is to have extensive surgry on her back on Sept 26th. She is having
a lot of pain and her movements will be restricted. Pray the doctors
might be able to operate sooner.
Madge Richardson
had a growth removed from her uper arm and is recovering as well as can
be expected.
Pat Cruise's
father is in the hospital with a stroke.
There are others who have requested prayer. Please call the church
number for a list of these people to include in your prayers. Let's
remember to pray daily for all those on the prayer list.

their grandpa, Bill Shockley, passed away.
MEN'S BUSINESS MEETING
The men's business meeting will be held September 10th at 4:30.
If there are any items you wish to discuss. Please let Roy Phillips know
as soon as possible.
FAIR HAVEN NEEDS--New Goal
NEW GOAL-- 25 Packages of spaghetti
and 25 cans or jars of spaghetti sauce. Deadline and pickup date is September
21. Let us make an effort to fulfill our goal by that pickup date.
