WELCOME!
We extend a very hearty and sincere welcome to all of our visitors. It is an honor to have you with us today and you are welcome every time our doors are open. Please stay a few minutes after worship so that we can get to know you.

We exist to serve God and you (Matthew 22:37-39). Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.


 UPCOMING EVENTS
LADIES DAY     will be September 8, at the Sunset Church of Christ from 9a.m. to 1p.m. with Elsie Hubbard speaking.  Please let Linda Blazer know if you want to go.
LADIES CLASS       Come and join us from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. on Thursdays.
GOSPEL MEETING --September 23-26, Strenghtening the Church with B.J. Clarke speaker.
BIM--Evening school at the Bible Institute of Missouri begins the evening of September 10th at 6:30 pm.  Ted Clarke will teach the first class on the Gospel of John.  At 7:30 there will be a class on Leadership for men only taugh by Chuck Northrop; and at the same time a ladies only class on Women of the Bible will be taught by Sherrie Clarke.  At 8:30 there will be a class on Hebrew History taught by Darin Chappell.  All the classes are free except for the cost of textbooks.  There are brochures on the table in the foyer telling more about the evening school, or you may ask Ted any questions you may have.  There brochures contain an enrollment form to turn in the first class period.  If you complete the entire five year curriculum you will receive a certificate from BIM.
POTLUCK DINNER
--There will be a potluck dinner on September 16th, which is the beginning of our gospel meeting.  Please plan to attend. 
MEN'S BUSINESS MEETING --will be held next Sunday, September 9th, at 4:30 PM .  If you have anything that needs to be discussed, please give the information to Roy Phillips.
SINGING --Please meet at Marshfield Care Nursing Home at 2:30 next Sunday, September 9th to sing some spiritual songs for the patients.  They look forward to us.

FAIR HAVEN CHILDRENS HOME sent us a letter expressing their thanks and reminding us that they will be here on September 27th to pick up the items we hae collected for them.  They sent a new list of their needs and it is typed below.  Please tear off this list and place on your refrigerator or in your purse to remind you to bring one of these items.  Also, our children might bring one of these items to class.  Thank you.

Johnnie Sanders continues his chemo treatments every two weeks..
Pat Welch, mother of Cary, had back surgery and is recovering now at home.
Sherrie Clarke had out patient surgery (lithotripsy) for her kidney stones last week.  They were able to break up the stone into small pieces and she has been able to pass some of them. .
Ted Clarke continues to have tests for his back and leg pain and weakness.  He will return to the pain clinic on Sept 24th for a trial procedure with a spinal cord stimulator.
Robert Keenan, Michelle Crew's brother, had a biopsy on his lung last week.  They determined they will have to shrink the tumor before operating.
Gregg Mooney, brother of Sherrie Clarke, also had a biopsy on his lung and the same thing was determined.
Teresa Baker, Becky Hyder's sister, will have outpatient surgery this week.

Continue to pray for all of these brethren and friends!


FIRST SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP will be this evening after services. Please bring sandwiches and finger foods.  Cake will be provided. This will be a combined first Sunday fellowship and wedding/baby shower for Dustin and Kelly Fluit.  Please see Thelma Price as soon as possible if you wish to go in on a shower gift.
CARD SHOWER  Miranda Cruise, niece of Linda Blazer, has been put to bed until she delivers her twins which are due in September.  Her address is 32 Cave Srpings Rd, Rogersville, MO 65742 
WORLD BIBLE SCHOOL We have received a request of financial help from the World Bible School. The men decided they would donate to that work everything that is contributed over our weekly budget of $1593.00 on the week of Sept 16th, 2007.  If you have any questions please see Bob Lewis.


WELCOME TO THE JASON LUNA FAMILY--Jason, Michelle and Tori.  jason will begin his studies at the Bible Institute of Missouri this Thursday.  Tori will attend school here and Michelle will continue her work in Mexico, MO.  Jason will commute on weekends to preach for the church in Mexico, MO.  Jason and Tori will be living in the Hailey house.  Please make them feel welcome!
