WELCOME!

We extend a very hearty and sincere welcome to all of our visitors. It is an honor to have you with us today and you are welcome every time our doors are open. Please stay a few minutes after worship so that we can get to know you.
We exist to serve God and you (Matthew 22:37-39). Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.

NOTE: WE ARE NOW MAILING OUT THE "HOUSE TO HOUSE HEART TO HEART"  PUBLICATION TO ALL IN THE 65706 ZIP CODE. OUR FIRST MAILING RECENTLY WENT OUT.  THERE ARE COPIES OF THIS PUBLICATION IN THE FOYER. WE WILL COVER THE ENTIRE ZIP CODE OF 10,000 BOXES OR RESIDENCES IN SIX MAILINGS EACH YEAR.


UPCOMING EVENTS
 

CLASS PROMOTIONS - Nov 7- Next week our children will be promoted to their new classes. There is a slight change in our classroom schedule.  Linda Blazer is teaching 1-3rd grades in her room, 4-6th grades are in room 1, and 3-4th grades and the 7th-12th grades will be in the fellowship room.

FIRST OF THE MONTH FELLOWSHIP- Nov 7-     Next Sunday will be our monthly fellowship dinner which will be potluck immediately after the morning worship.  Hostesses are: Michelle Crews, Wanda Crews, Angel Hamilton, and Thelma Price.  Plan now to join us in a time of fellowship and dining.

DECEMBER HOLIDAY PARTY-  Dec 4-    at 6 pm.  Everyone is invited. Men bring a man's gift - Women bring a woman's gift.  $7.50-10.00 limit. Plan now to attend .  There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer.

DECEMBER SINGING-  Dec 11- at 6pm at Thad and Patsy Layne's house.  More information to come.

HOLIDAY WIDOW/WIDOWER'S BASKETS will be prepared December 16th.  Let's begin now to gather items for these baskets.  They always appreciate any homemade gifts and homemade baked goods in their baskets.  Also your help with monetary donations is always needed and appreciated.

Melvin Reaves, good friend of John and Norma Nash,  has been diagnosed with brain cancer. They have removed one tumor but there is another tumor that cannot be removed.
Suzi Doty  is home recovering well.
William Bigley is  recovering from his broken leg at home.
Virgil Thompson, Ron Thompson's dad, had a bone marrow test and they are still awaiting definitive results.
Vickie Cantrell  is scheduled to have her surgery in November.
Megan Easterly had an MRI which showed there are no significant changes.
Tim Lokey, nephew of Sherrie Clarke, had surgery to remove cancer from his rectum  and is taking radiation. They doubled the radiation and are seeing shrinkage of the tumor.
Taylor Tate,  granddaughter of Ted and Sherrie Clarke, has an  EKGs and blood work each Monday to monitor her heart rate problem.
Tim Tate, son-in-law of the Clarkes, had orthroscoptic knee surgery last Thursday and is home recovering.

Gene Richardson is could use our prayers for his health. He has not been feeling well at all.
Please remember all of these in your prayers.

FAIRHAVEN CHILDREN'S HOME- Our new list includes: Egg Noodles, peanut butter, canned soup, refreid beans , taco sauce and rotel tomatoes.  Also remember to save the Best Choice bar codes and place them in the Smiley Face box in the foyer.
