FUND RAISER

There will be a fundraiser for the Latin-American work on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 6:30 pm,  at the gymnasium of the Farihaven Children's Home in Strafford, MO.  A free meal will be prepared for all by Terry and Ruth McMasters.  Jack Farber from Valdosta, GA will speak and all proceeds raised will go to the print shop which prints all the literature and books for the work done in the Latin-American work.

Our congregation is very much involved in this work.  Several of our members have gone to Panama and Peru over the ast years and it is worthy of our support.  Please plan to be there.  If you have questions , see Terry McMasters.

PRAYER LIST

Cecil Counts, father of Pat Cruise, is having health problems. They found another aneurism.  Please keep him in your prayers.
Harry Price continues to improve but still has a long way to go.  The test to check his esophagus for leaks showed that ther is still a small area that has not healed. They will repeat the test on Tuesday. This must be healed completely before they can remove the tubes and eventually begin feeding him through the mouth.  Also keep Thelma in your prayers. She has faithfully stayed by Harry's side . Unless you have had to do it you cannot imagine how tiring and stressful such watchcare can be.

Ted Clarke is has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.  He will see the doctor Monday afternoon for the plan of action to be taken.  Also, he has two spots of undetermined blockage in his left kidney, which is only functioning 10%.

Judy Phillips continues to improve and recover from her surgery.  It will still be some time before her pain is completely gone and her strength returns.

Vickie Cantrell is improving and is able to get out and about some.  She is very thankful for the food and visits but feels like she does not need any more food brought to her at this time..

NOTIFY SHERRIE OF NAMES TO BE ADDED OR DROPPED FROM THE PRAYER LIST.

There are others who have requested prayer. Please call the church number for a list of these  people to include in your prayers. Let's remember to pray daily for all those on the prayer list.
