NEWS AND NOTES
Dear Brethren ,
What a joy it was to be with you in the gospel
meeting. It is our fervent prayer tat the preaching of the gospel
will be blessed and all of our efforts crowned with fruit to the glory
of God. It was our first time to be with the church at Marshfield
and we are happy to say that it was a pleasure to be there. We were blessed
in a special way to get to spend some time with Ted and Sherrie, our long
time and much loved friends. It is our prayer that the future will
be great for the church there and that growth and development in every
good way will come. May God bless and keep you every one.

THANK YOU
Dear family,
We have so much to be thankful for. We thank
God for answering prayer and to all of you for your prayers. Thank
you for all the calls, cards, and visits. They all helped.
Harry appreciated the Sunshine basket. He looked forward to opening
a gift each day. They all brought smiles and even a laugh.
How did somebody know that his favorite corn was cream style? Thanks
also for Thelma's basket. It was appreciated. Thanks Ladies
class. We are very thankful for our church family.

PRAYER LIST
Cecil Counts, father of Pat Cruise,
continues to have serious health problems. Please keep him , Pat,
and all their in your prayers.
Harry Price is improving at home
but has a ways to go.
Ted Clarke will have surgery on November
27 to remove his left kidney and his prostate.
NOTIFY SHERRIE OF NAMES TO BE ADDED OR DROPPED
FROM THE PRAYER LIST.
There are others who have requested
prayer. Please call the church number for a list of these people
to include in your prayers. Let's remember to pray daily for all those
on the prayer list.
FAIR HAVEN NEEDS--New Goal
NEW GOAL-- 25 Packages of Hot Chocolate
Mix. The next scheduled pick date is December 14th. We are
behind in fulfilling our goal for the hot chocolate mix. Let's try
real hard to catch up before the pick up date. We can do it!!
LADIES COOKBOOK
The cookbook that was printed some years
back is being updated and added to so please bring one or two of your favorite
recipes and give them to either Kay
Lewis or Sherrie Clarke.
HOLIDAY PARTY
Our holiday party will be held December
9th at 6:00 PM. There will be a gift exchange of $5.00 to $7.50.
A man's gift for a man and a woman's gift for a woman. Be sure to
put this on your calendars now and plan to come and enjoy the fun and fellowship.
WIDOW / WIDOWER HOLIDAY BASKETS
The widow/ widower Holiday Baskets will be
prepared December 14th. If you would like to make a monetary donation
for the items that are put in the baskets, please give that to Linda or
Carlene. Homemade items such as crafts or baked goods should be turned
in by Wed., December 13th. If you have a name you would like a basket
delivered to, please let Sherrie know.
LADIES BIBLE CLASS---Thursday
