WELCOME!

We extend a very hearty and sincere welcome to all of our visitors. It is an honor to have you with us today and you are welcome every time our doors are open. Please stay a few minutes after worship so that we can get to know you.
We exist to serve God and you (Matthew 22:37-39). Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.

NOTE: WE ARE NOW MAILING OUT THE "HOUSE TO HOUSE HEART TO HEART"  PUBLICATION TO ALL IN THE 65706 ZIP CODE. OUR FIRST MAILING RECENTLY WENT OUT.  THERE ARE COPIES OF THIS PUBLICATION IN THE FOYER. WE WILL COVER THE ENTIRE ZIP CODE OF 10,000 BOXES OR RESIDENCES IN SIX MAILINGS EACH YEAR.

LAST QUARTER 5th-8th GRADE OUTING- Nov 14- Today after services 5th-8th grades from last quarter are going to Incredible Pizza immediately after services.  All those going please meet in the foyer after services.

SINGING AT THE NURSING HOME-  Nov 14- Today at 3:30 pm.

MENS BUSINESS MEETING- Nov 14- Today at 4:30.

DECEMBER HOLIDAY PARTY-  Dec 4-    at 6 pm.  Everyone is invited. Men bring a man's gift - Women bring a woman's gift.  $7.50-10.00 limit. Plan now to attend .  There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer.

DECEMBER SINGING-  Dec 11- at 6pm at Thad and Patsy Layne's house.  More information to come.

HOLIDAY WIDOW/WIDOWER'S BASKETS Dec 16 - We will be preparing 30 large and 10 small baskets for  widows and widowers on Dec 16.  Let's begin now to gather items for these baskets.  They always appreciate any homemade gifts and homemade baked goods in their baskets.  Or if you wish to donate a certain item such as soup, candy, etc., please see Linda to advise her or get and idea for an item. Also your help with monetary donations is always needed and appreciated.

Daylon Kanengieter was taken to the hospital Friday with kidney stones.  He is home now.
Herman Harris' cancer has become active again and he is taking oral chemo medication at home.
Virgil Thompson, Ron Thompson's dad, had a bone marrow test and they are still awaiting definitive results.
Vickie Cantrell  is scheduled to have her surgery in November.
Megan Easterly had an MRI which showed there are no significant changes.
Tim Lokey, nephew of Sherrie Clarke, had surgery to remove cancer from his rectum  and is taking radiation. They doubled the radiation and are seeing shrinkage of the tumor.
Brooke Tate had a neuro ablation to deaden tghe nerves in her sacroiliac and continues her recovery at home.
Tim Tate, son-in-law of the Clarkes, will have orthroscoptic surgery on his other knee Dec 2..

Gene Richardson is could use our prayers for his health. He has not been feeling well at all.
Please remember all of these in your prayers.

WE REJOICE at the baptism of Hunter Nash.  Hunter was baptized by his father this past Wednesday night after services. May God bless Hunter in his life of service to Him.  We have a new group of young Christians here. Let us encourage them.

FAIRHAVEN CHILDREN'S HOME- Our new list includes: Egg Noodles, peanut butter, canned soup, refreid beans , taco sauce and rotel tomatoes.  Also remember to save the Best Choice bar codes and place them in the Smiley Face box in the foyer.
