VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Vacation Bible School has been set to begin August 7th.  This year's theme and schedule is:

"Champions for God"

Monday Gideon a champion of obedience!
Tuesday Nehemiah a champion for God!
Wednesday Esther a champion of courage!
Thursday Peter a champion of Christian growth!
Friday Paul a champion of evangelism!

PRAYER LIST

Update: Missy Nash is home and recovering from her surgery.
Rick Tooley (Verba's cousin) has returned to the hospital. Please keep him in your prayers.
Jason Hamilton, Angel's husband, is experiencing medical problems.
Luke Hartman (friend of the Greers) has come out of the coma from his May 18th accident. Recover is expected to be a lengthy process.  Please keep him in your prayers.
Gene Kimball who received serious burns from a work related accident was hospitalized in Texas but is being released to return to a local hospital.  Please keep Gene and his family in your prayers.

There are others who have requested prayer. Please call the church number for a list of these  people to include in your prayers.

MEAL DELIVERIES TO SENIOR CITIZENS

It is our week to deliver meals for the Older American Center.  Please contact Thelma if you can help in this effort.

FELLOWSHIP DINNER

Our Fellowship Dinner will be next Sunday, June 1st, after morning services. Bring salad and sandwiches for the meal.  Please make plans to join us.

Note of Thanks--Thank you for allowing me the privilege to prepare the weekly bulletin.  I would like to thank everyone who helped to provide articles and all the other stuff I shouldn't forget. I appreciate your understanding and willingness to overlook my memory losses, typos, and my poor grammar!
Starting next Sunday Sherrie Clarke will be preparing the bulletin, although I will be available to help when needed.  Please forward your information to Sherrie or Ted for the bulletin.

 FAIR HAVEN NEEDS--NEW GOAL

GOAL #5-  50 cans of tuna or chicken.  A new shopping list will be posted next week with the next pickup of June the 8th.

Please remember the Fair Haven Childrens Home in your prayers as they reach out to children in our community who are in need of a home filled with love and caring.

PERU MISSIONS
Thank you to everyone who has helped to purchase Bibles for the Peru mission trip. A special thank you to the children's classes that collected "pennies for Peru".

PANAMA CHILDREN

Ninety dollars ($90.00) will feed, clothe and provide medical attention for a whole month for one (1) child in the Panama  Children's Home. A change can is located on the table in the foyer to help with this need.
