VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Vacation Bible School has been set to begin August 7-11 from 9 am to 11am for ages 3 years through Jr. High School.  Open house will be Friday evening August 11, 6:30-8:00 pm.  This year's theme and schedule is:

"Champions for God"

Monday Gideon a champion of obedience!
Tuesday Nehemiah a champion for God!
Wednesday Esther a champion of courage!
Thursday Peter a champion of Christian growth!
Friday Paul a champion of evangelism!

Begin to think COOKIES as it's about time to start collecting them.  See Thelma for details on this.

PRAYER LIST UPDATES AND NEW PRAYER REQUESTS

Ted Clarke's father, Wayne Rogers, passed away Friday and will be buried in Astoria, IL on Tuesday.  Ted and Sherrie will be leaving Monday morning early for Illinois.
There are those who have requested prayer. Please call the church number for a list of these  people to include in your prayers.

FAREWELL PARTY

Tonight,  July 30th after evening services there will be a farewell party for Cary and Kimmy Welch who are moving to Nebraska. Cake will be furnished.  Please plan now to attend.

MEALS ON WHEELS

This is our week to deliver meals from the Older American Center.  If you can help, see Thelma.
