WELCOME!
We extend a very hearty and sincere
welcome to all of our visitors. It is an honor to have you with us today
and you are welcome every time our doors are open. Please stay a few minutes
after worship so that we can get to know you.
We exist to serve God and you (Matthew
22:37-39). Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual
service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We
would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.
UPCOMING EVENTS
LADIES CLASS
is using their time on Thursday mornings working on the upcoming Vacation
Bible School which is scheduled for July 16th. We can use all the
help we can get and would love to have you join us. We separate and cut
out the material for the teachers. Come and join us from 9:30 – 11:00
a.m. on Thursdays
VBS at the
Marshfield church of Christ will be held July16-20 from 9-11
am
Theme- Neighbors for Jesus For all children
ages 3-Junior High. Singing, prayers, study of God's Word, crafts,
awards, refreshments and outdoor activities.
Open house for parents on Friday night 6:30-8:00
pm. Come and bring your friends.
Registration forms are in the foyer.
Please fill these out and give to Linda Blazer or Ted Clarke.

Helen Layman, great aunt of Becky Hyder
had a stroke and needs our prayers.
Robert Keenan, brother of Michelle Crews,
has a spot on his lung and will be going to Little Rock at the end of the
month for more tests.
Johnnie Sanders is home from the hospital
but experiencing some good and bad days.
Linda Huckabee is home recovering. Her
mother
Lulabelle Hale had heart surgery
to have valves replaced and is recovering at home.
Richard Comer, brother of Robert Comer,
is having problems with his diabetes and also liver probelms.
Jacob Herman, grandson of Bob and Kay
Lewis, is now back in Marshfield.
Georgia Matthews is staying with her daughter
for the time being.
Mary Sue Hanson, sister of Faye Hyder,
had a stroke and is hospitalized.
Harry Price is improving at home from
an infection.
Charlotte Blackwell had an episode with
her heart and is under doctor's care.
Jan McGrath is reovering from a broken
hip at Christian Health Center in Republic.
Kay Lewis's dad went into the hospital
yesterday and had to go back during the night.
Continue to pray for all of these brethren
and friends!
FAIRHAVEN--New
items for Fairhaven Children's Home will be toilet
paper. Also remember to save bar codes from
Best Choice labels for the children's home. The Thrift Store for
the children's home need plastic sacks. You may bring these and place them
in the food barrel and someone will take them to the store. Next
pick up date is in September.
MEN'S BUSINESS
MEETING today at 4:30 pm.
Please give Roy any items to be discussed before then.
VBS begins tomorrow(July
16-20) We are in need of cookies, so please start bringing your cookies
and placing them in the kitchen. See Thelma Price for details or
if you have any questions.
YOUTH NIGHT
will be July 29th at Conway church of Christ at the evening service.
CLEAN UP HELP!
We need extra hands on Friday at 11 am to clean up and prepare for VBS
Open House Friday evening at 6 pm. Please help. We will order
in lunch and share a time of work and pleasure together.
TAXES Those
who give cash donations to the church must get a receipt for cash donations
if you itemize before you can count them as a deduction on your income
tax. Contact Roy if this applies to you and a method of doing that will
be worked out.
