WELCOME!
We extend a very hearty and sincere
welcome to all of our visitors. It is an honor to have you with us today
and you are welcome every time our doors are open. Please stay a few minutes
after worship so that we can get to know you.
We exist to serve God and you (Matthew
22:37-39). Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual
service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We
would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.
UPCOMING EVENTS
LADIES CLASS
is using their time on Thursday mornings working on the upcoming Vacation
Bible School which is scheduled for July 16th. We can use all the
help we can get and would love to have you join us. We separate and cut
out the material for the teachers. Come and join us from 9:30 – 11:00
a.m. on Thursdays
VBS at the
Marshfield church of Christ will be held July16-20 from 9-11
am
Theme- Neighbors for Jesus For all children
ages 3-Junior High. Singing, prayers, study of God's Word, crafts,
awards, refreshments and outdoor activities.
Open house for parents on Friday night 6:30-8:00
pm. Come and bring your friends.
Registration forms are in the foyer.
Please fill these out and give to Linda Blazer or Ted Clarke.

.Terry Cruise had surgery for prostate
cancer and is home and improving daily.. .
Johnnie Sanders will had surgery on Thursday,
July 21. He is home from the hospital but experiencing nausea and
weakness.
Linda Huckabee had knee replacement surgery
last Tuesday, and is home recovering. Her mother
Lulabelle Hale had heart surgery
to have valves replaced on Jun 28 at Cox Hospital. and is in ICU.
Randy Hyder had continues to recover from
his rotary cuff surgery.
Richard Comer, brother of Robert Comer,
is having problems with his diabetes and also liver probelms.
Amy Kanengieter, sisiter in law of Dena,
is suffering some emotional problems associated with her polonged illness.
Jacob Herman, grandson of Bob and Kay
Lewis, has moved to Cedar Ridge at Linn Creek.
Georgia Matthews has been ill and has
been staying with her daughter for a while.
Estelline Jones has been feeling better
the last few days.
Harry Price is in the hospital due to
extrememly high blood sugar and an infection.
Jan McGrath is in the hospital at St.
Johns as a result of a fall last evening.
Mary Sue Hanson, sister of Faye Hyder,
had a stroke and is hospitalized.
Continue to pray for all of these brethren
and friends!
OUR SINCERE SYMPATHIES
to
the Hyder family at the loss of their loved one, Delbert Hyder.
His funeral was this past Thursday. The tremendous outpouring of
love and affection by the community and church family has surely been a
comfort to all the Hyder family in their time of sorrow.
WELCOME TO OUR
CHRISTIAN FAMILY to our new sister in
Christ Linda Staples baptized Friday a week ago. Brother Roy Phillips,
studied with and baptized Linda. She had been studying through the
Know Your Bible correspondence course. Welcome her and encourage her.

FAIRHAVEN--New
items for Fairhaven Children's Home will be toilet
paper. Also remember to save bar codes from
Best Choice labels for the children's home. The Thrift Store for
the children's home need plastic sacks. You may bring these and place them
in the food barrel and someone will take them to the store. Next
pick up date is in September.
FELLOWSHIP DINNER
today will consist of hamburgers and
hotdogs which will be furnished. Bring extra dishes if you like.
NEXT MEN'S BUSINESS
MEETING will be July 8th at 4:30
pm. Please give Roy any items to be discussed before then.
JULY 4th
Everyone is invited to Linda Blazer's house Wednesday night after services
to watch the fireworks. Bring lawn chairs.
VBS is just around
the corner (July 16-20) We are in need of cookies, so please start bringing
your cookies and placing them in the kitchen. Se Thelma Price for
details or if you have any questions.
SINGING at the
nursing home will be next Sunday at 2:30 pm.
SUNSHINE BASKET ITEMS needed,
especially men's items. Please help in this good work and pick up
a few things and place them in the basket in the foyer. Thank you.
