WELCOME!
We extend a very hearty and sincere welcome to all of our visitors. It is an honor to have you with us today and you are welcome every time our doors are open.
Please stay a few minutes after worship so that we can get to know you.
We exist to serve God and you (Matthew 22:37-39).
Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.

Singing and Making Melody Within Your Heart

How many of us have music degrees? With the exception of a few in the congregation that I have gotten to know a little better, most of us do not. We have learned to sing in worship by simply listening to the person next to us, or maybe by buying the occasional tape or cd.  I for one like that God thru His wisdom, wants us to sing and worship from the heart. Singing has a very definite place in worshipping God in spirit and in truth. We glorify God in our singing praises to His name. Colossians 3:16, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord"  You notice something in that passage? Our singing is to be “to the Lord”.  Song leaders may not always get it right, they may not lead the song the way “you are used to”, but the key is we MUST sing unto the Lord. I am reminded of this more and more when I get the opportunity to sing with the little children. Some may sing a different tune, or even yell the lyrics, but boy how they teach us a lesson about “singing from the heart”.  God has commanded us to sing. That means each one of us. Your voice and singing (as long as it is done from the heart) will always be a joy to the Lord! Hebrews 2:12 says "In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You” Let’s make a “joyful noise” unto the Lord as we worship Him this day!
