WELCOME!
We extend a very hearty and sincere
welcome to all of our visitors. It is an honor to have you with us today
and you are welcome every time our doors are open. Please stay a few minutes
after worship so that we can get to know you.
We exist to serve God and you (Matthew
22:37-39). Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual
service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We
would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.
The Holiday Party
that was scheduled for last Saturday night is rescheduled due to bad weather
for Friday, January 4th at 6:30 p.m. Another sign up sheet is in the foyer
so if you couldn't come last time, maybe you can make it this time.
We will still have the gift exhange that night. Bring a gift (approximately
$7.50) a man for a man and a woman for a woman if you wish to participate
in that.

Johnnie Sanders
has
just one more chemo treatment left. Great news!
Estelline Jones
is home recovering from her gall bladder surgery.
Linda Huckaby
continues to recover at home from her 2nd kneee replacement surgery.
Greg Mooney, Sherrie's
brother, is home recovering from surgery to remove his lung. He wishes
to thank everyone for their prayers and for the great shunshine basket.
He enjoyed it very much.
Ruth Mc Masters foot
surgery scheduled for December 12th was cancelled due to her accident.
She is recovering from the accident at home and will possibly have foot
surgery December the 26th.
Brenden Earls will
have surgery his in St. Louis on Jaunuary 4th.
Jan McGrath remains
in St. John's hospital with staph infection.
Justin Clarke, Ted and Sherrie's 20 year old
grandson, is being tested for testicular cancer. Please pray him.
Bud Gentry,
cousin of the Cruise's and the Blazer's , was diagnosed with cancer.
Becky Hyder had
tests on her kidneys and it was discovered that one had shrunk to the size
of a walnut and the other was doing the work of both kidneys. She will
be fine.
Remember to pray for all of these brethren
and friends!
FAIR HAVEN CHILDRENS
HOME
This quarter let's concentrate
on bringing pasta products. Noodles, spaghetti, etc. and spaghetti
sauce. We got a letter from Fair Haven thanking us for the food they picked
up.
CANS FOR CHILDREN'S HOME-
There are change cans in the foyer (one per family). Please take
one home and put extra change in it to help the Children's Home to purchase
a new van. These cans will be picked up in May so let's make an effort
to fill them full. We might also put one in our classrooms for the
children to help donate each week.
HOLIDAY BASKETS FOR WIDOWS
AND WIDOWERS-
We want to thank everyone so
very much for donating items for the baskets. We received homemade
candy, cookies, cups, aprons, towels, items from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th,
and 6th grades and monetary donations. We were able to make 37 baskets
this year. Thanks again.
LADIES CLASS
will not meet on December 27th but will resume on January 3rd.
