WELCOME!
We extend a very hearty and sincere welcome to all of our visitors. It is an honor to have you with us today and you are welcome every time our doors are open. Please stay a few minutes after worship so that we can get to know you.
We exist to serve God and you (Matthew 22:37-39). Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.

NOTE: WE ARE NOW MAILING OUT THE "HOUSE TO HOUSE HEART TO HEART"  PUBLICATION TO ALL IN THE 65706 ZIP CODE. OUR FIRST MAILING RECENTLY WENT OUT.  THERE ARE COPIES OF THIS PUBLICATION IN THE FOYER. WE WILL COVER THE ENTIRE ZIP CODE OF 10,000 BOXES OR RESIDENCES IN SIX MAILINGS EACH YEAR.


UPCOMING EVENTS 

A BIG THANK YOU to all who helped donate, prepare and deliver our Widows baskets and a box of food for a family. We prepared 40 baskets and a large box of groceries. Thank you!!!
MORE THANKS    to Thad and Patsy Layne for hosting a wonderful meal and monthly singing Friday night.  A good crowd turned out and a lot of fun was had 

SIGN UP SHEET   There is a sign up sheet in the foyer for those who will prepare the communion for 2010.  Please sign up for a month to take care of this need. Thank you.

Bob Blackwell
is on the Cancer floor at St. Johns Hospital with Acute Myeogeneous Leukemia undergoing chemotherapy.  The first round of chemotherapy was unsuccessful and the doctors are trying low dose chemotherapy to put try to slow the growth of the cancer cells. This is a 5 day treatment every 28 days.  He will have to be built up before he can leave the hospital and will probably not be home for Christmas.
Kenneth Davis,  Debra's husband, is recovering at home from knee replacement surgery.
Doshie Crossland, mother of Ruth McMasters,  needs constant care.
Estelline Jones is still struggling with blood pressure problems.
Christina Huckaby, mother of Johnnie Huckaby is doing some better at this time.
Linda Haffner is taking her second round of chemo and is having a lot of sickness with it.
Don Thurman, father of Diana Greer will return to the doctor on Jan 5 for a scan to tell if his treatments have been successful
Johnnie Sanders did not take his chemo treatment last week.  They found that his port was not installed correctly and he will return Tuesday to have that corrected.
John Nash Sr, had a pace maker put in and is at home recovering.
Kitty Manary,  daughter-in-law of Mae, fell last week and broke her arm. She was in Cox hospital but is at home now recovering.
Megan Easterly's cancer shows that the spots are shrinking and there were no new spots. She will continue treatments for another 9 months.
Gene Richardson remains in Webco Manor and may be able to go home for Christmas.Remember all of these in your prayers. 
FAIRHAVEN CHILDRENS HOME  New Items are cooking oil cooking spray, cereal, spaghetti sauce and instant potatoes.  Let's try to remember to bring items to fill our containers.  Also remember to save the Best Choice bar codes and place in the Smiley Face box in the foyer.  The next pick up date will be in March.
The Thursday morning Ladies' Class will be preparing about 40 holiday baskets for widows/widowers on December 17th beginning at 9 am. Any baked goodies (fudge, cookies, etc.) would be appreciated.  Also, monetary donations are helpful.  Ask Linda for other ideas. You are welcome to come and help prepare the baskets.


The next Ladies Class will meet January 7th.
