WELCOME!
We extend a very hearty and sincere
welcome to all of our visitors. It is an honor to have you with us today
and you are welcome every time our doors are open. Please stay a few minutes
after worship so that we can get to know you.
We exist to serve God and you (Matthew
22:37-39). Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual
service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We
would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.

CODE. OUR FIRST MAILING RECENTLY WENT OUT. THERE ARE COPIES OF THIS
PUBLICATION IN THE FOYER. WE WILL COVER THE ENTIRE ZIP CODE OF 10,000 BOXES
OR RESIDENCES IN SIX MAILINGS EACH YEAR.

EVENTS
Dec 12
HOLIDAY PARTY Our
Rescheduled annual holiday party will take place Saturday afternoon,
Dec 12 at 5 pm.
Food will be provided. Bring a $7.50-$10.00 gift for exchange.
Women bring a womans
gift and men bring a mens gift. This year we will play a game called "Guess
Who?". We
will have a picture board. Bring a picture of yourself when you were
younger and give to
Sherrie Clarke with your name on the back. Each person should bring
a picture and not
of a married couple together. This is optional but we encourage you
to join in the fun.

Dec 19
MONTHLY SINGING at
Thad and Patsy Lane's house on Dec 19. Food will be provided. Thad
is preparing a
Mexican fiesta for us.
FAMILY IN NEED
It has come to our attention that a family is in need of groceries.
The Ladies Class is
working on this project but would appreciate your donations of food items.

details. There will be a box provided in the foyer for this effort.

His funeral

Bob Blackwell is
on the Cancer floor at St. Johns Hospital with Acute Myeogeneous Leukemia
undergoing chemotherapy. These treatments require hospitalization
for about 30 days and if all goes well with the first treatment he will
have 2 more 3 week treatments.
Kenneth Davis,
Debra's husband, is recovering at home from knee replacement surgery.
Samantha Tate,
granddaughter of Clarkes, will be going to Childrens Hospital in Little
Rock for an endoscopy and colonoscopy on December 9.
Doshie Crossland, mother
of Ruth McMasters, is still struggling with fluid on her lungs. She
needs constant care.
Estelline Jones is
still struggling with blood pressure problems and is very weak.
Christina Huckaby, mother
of Johnnie Huckaby is doing some better at this time.
Linda Haffner is
taking her second round of chemo and is having a lot of sickness with it.
Don Thurman,
father of Diana Greer will return to the doctor on Jan 5 for a scan to
tell if his treatments have been successful
Johnnie Sanders
had his eighth chemo treatment on Wednesday.
Missy Nash, ihad
to go back to surgery to repair an area that would not heal.
Gene Richardson
results from some tests run on his heart were not favorable and he is not
a candidate for a pacemaker.
Remember all of these in your prayers.
FAIRHAVEN CHILDRENS
HOME New Items are cooking oil cooking
spray, cereal, spaghetti sauce and instant potatoes. Let's try to
remember to bring items to fill our containers. Also remember to
save the Best Choice bar codes and place in the Smiley Face box in the
foyer.
The Thursday morning Ladies' Class will be preparing
about 40 holiday baskets for widows/widowers on December 17the beginning
at 9 am. Any baked goodies (fudge, cookies, etc.) would be appreciated.
Also, monetary donations are helpful. Ask Linda for other ideas.

will not meet if shcool has been called off due to snow.
FIRST SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP
