WELCOME!
We extend a very hearty and sincere
welcome to all of our visitors. It is an honor to have you with us today
and you are welcome every time our doors are open. Please stay a few minutes
after worship so that we can get to know you.
We exist to serve God and you (Matthew
22:37-39). Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual
service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We
would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.
UPCOMING EVENTS
LADIES DAY September
6 -- Ladies Day at Mountain Home. There are details on the bulletin
board.
SINGING
September 6 -- Our monthly siinging and fellowship
will be held at sister Mae Manary's home beginning at
5:30 pm . Bring finger foods and come and enjoy the fellowship.
FELLOWSHIP September
7 -- First Sunday fellowship will be pot luck dinner after the morning
service. Hostesses are Cathy
Thompson, Ellen Haddock, Louise Bigley, and Rebecca Bigley.
WORK DAY
September 13--There will be a work day at the building beginning at 8:00
am There are several things that we
need to accomplish and we need all the help we can get.

September 14-17 Bible and Arceology Seminar,
speaker Dr. Dale Manor
Sunset church of Christ 7 pm nightly
MENS BUSINESS MEETING
will be held on September 14, at 4:30. If you have any items to be
discussed, please give them to Roy before the date.
SINGING AT THE
NURSING HOME will be at 2:30 September 14.

Roy Phillips'
began radiation Wednesday and has had 3 sessions.
Cathy Thompson was
tested. The doctors determined she does not have rheumatoid arthritis but
she does have fibromyalgia.
Doshie Crossland, mother
of Ruth Mc Masters, has returned to her home in Springfield. She is still
suffering from infection in
her foot.
Willie Butler, friend
of John Nash, is recovering from surgery but is not doing well.
Thema and Harry Price have
gone to California to visit their son. They will return on Sept 4.
Pray for a safe trip.
FAIR HAVEN CHILDRENS HOME
Our new items for the children's home are
aluminum foil, zip lock bags, trash bags, and
Kleenex. Items will be picked up on
September 18. Let's try to fill our container before the next pick up date.
WE REJOICE
with the Hyder family at the baptism of Randy and Becky's son, Daniel.
He was baptized into Christ while Randy and family were visiting him in
Nebraska last week. May God bless him with many years of service to the
Lord.
