We extend a very hearty and sincere

and you are welcome every time our doors are open. Please stay a few minutes
after worship so that we can get to know you.
We exist to serve God and you (Matthew
22:37-39). Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual
service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We
would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.

CODE. OUR FIRST MAILING RECENTLY WENT OUT. THERE ARE COPIES OF THIS
PUBLICATION IN THE FOYER. WE WILL COVER THE ENTIRE ZIP CODE OF 10,000 BOXES
OR RESIDENCES IN SIX MAILINGS EACH YEAR.

YOUTH NIGHT at Kansas Expressway.
The topic will be "God Hates a False Witness Who Speaks Lies."
Sept 12 SUNSET
LADIES' DAY from 8:30 to 12:00 noon. Jane
Maynard from Mountain Home, AR will be speaking on
"Back to the Basics". Breakfast will be served from 8:30-9:30.
No lunch will be served. We must RSVP by
August 17th and there is a sign up sheet in the foyer.

Don Thurman,
father of Diana Greer had surgery to remove his eye and socket which are
cancerous. He was released last Saturday and will take radiation
treatments in Springfield as they were unable to get all of the cancer.
Johnnie Sanders' had
a port put in on Thursday to be used to administer chemo which will start
later..
Peggy Bowlers, a
friend of Kay Lewis and Wanda Crews, has had her cancer to return and she
is taking chemo.
Megan Easterly
is also taking chemo again but her MRI did show shrinkage in her tumor.
Christina Huckaby, Johnnie's
mother, is ill and hospice has been brought in.
Edgar and Minnie Hicks, father
and mother of Jan Sanders, are both having health problems.
Michaeline Marler, Jo
Skinner's daughter, has gone home from the hospital but will continue dialysis
until her kidneys begin to function again.
Bill Domby
is finally improving and will be released Friday..
David Reeves, friend
of John Nash's has liver disease. He is home at this time.
Remember all of these in your prayers.
MONTHLY SINGING will
be at Terry and Verba Cruise's house August 22, at 6:30. Please bring
homemade icecream and things that go with that.
FAIRHAVEN CHILDRENS HOME
New Items are microwave popcorn, chocolate
chip cookies, sugar, hamburger helper, brown sugar and marshmallows. Please
remember to bring these new items to fill our container. Let's try
to remember to save our Best Coice bar codes from any product and put them
in the Smiley Face box in the foyer.

Layne have moved back to Marshfield and
have placed their membership with this congregation. We are so delighted
